THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
The Hillgrove Band has faced unprecedented challenges this year, as we have navigated the COVID-19 Pandemic. We have had a canceled marching band season, virtual and hybrid school, canceled fundraisers, and a membership community that has been impacted in countless ways. But given all of those things, our students and staff have pressed on, rising above to create new opportunities to perform together, doing what we love.
But there are significant needs! As we move forward, the band directors have identified several 'big ticket' items that we will need in the future, to continue to provide the highest quality of music education possible. We will need:
- A completely new set of drumline equipment
- New Sousaphones
- New Tenor Saxes and Bass Clarinets
- A complete refurbishment of the Marching Band Tower
- New Jazz Band Sound Equipment for soloist amplification.
- 4-5 new drum sets for our 'drum set laboratory'
Our fundraising goal for this campaign is $15,000 and we can make it there with YOUR help. $15,000 will go a long way in meeting the goals of purchasing the above equipment for our students' benefit, and help us reach new heights in 2021 and beyond!
